Subject: quite funny, but only if you are german
First of all:
I wouldn't call this category "German Cinema".
Whats here right now is not any kind of cinema,
it's just a very small collection of some very simple non-proffessional experiments.

As for this paricular thing, I think it's still pretty funny though. Yet if you are not a native German, don't even bother downloading it, because the humor in it is a kinda strange one that propably only German intellectuals are gonna get.

What he says just doesn't at all fit to how he says it. So if you get it, you'll think it's really funny, paricular because there is a whole bunch of German university lectureers who really DO talk like that. But if you are not German and don't know people like this, you'll just think it's garbage.

The Lutz Mommartz Film Archive is a collection of the film works of German film-maker Lutz Mommartz, considered to be one of the pioneers in the film genre known as the "other cinema". Mommartz was born in Erkelenz in 1934 and spent most of his life in Dusseldorf. He began making movies in 1967 and eventually became Professor of Film at the Kunstakademie Munster. He still lives and works in Germany, dividing his time between Dusseldorf and Berlin.
